Te entiendo, y comparto lo que dices. Yo creo que este señor está en estado de gracia, y que ha sabido encontrar un territorio y unos acompañantes (no una fórmula) ideales para dejar fluir esta gracia e irla derivando en formas y tonos diversos: de lo épico a lo más crudo, del sarcasmo a la dulzura. Qué suerte, tenerlo ahí, al buen Vic.
Edito para aclarar que, tras tres escuchas seguidas, el disco me parece un milagro.

At the risk of sounding like Eric Cartman after having just seen the Terrence and Philip movie (“Who Wants to Fucking Touch Me?!”), I got to hear Baroness’ Blue Record last night and I just need to say: holy shit, dude.
This is clearly gonna be the next record that we talk about until you’re sick of hearing about it. Because it hits the spot, dude. The G spot. Again… and again… and again. Shiver.
Comparing Baroness to Mastodon seems both disrespectful and passé at this point, but for the sake of simplicity: this really is Baroness’ Leviathan. There’s been a certain buzz in the air for this band since their Red Record, everyone is primed for something new and awesome, and Baroness are going to 110% deliver. The album is undeniably metal and, it should go without saying, fairly proggy – but its also bluesy and soulful, and the songs are all catchy and extremely well written (And that’s why I imagine it will appeal to non-metalheads, too.). metalsucks.net

Compiled here are two separate EPs, the first being Have A Nice Life's extremely rare second demo, Powers Of Ten, and the second being What Happened Next Was Worse, a collection of tracks written around the same time as Deathconsciousness that didn't make it onto the main album. Together these two EPs make up Voids, a sort of footnote detailing a little more of what was going on during the five year period leading up to 2008's Deathconsciousness.
All songs written by Dan and Tim, in a bedroom in the middle of nowhere (12 Oxford Dr., Middlefield, Connecticut).
While the material here has been compiled with some assistance from the band, this is not an official Enemies List release.

here is the new Noise Addict album "it was never about the audience". its the first Noise Addict album in about 14 years. it felt like time for a new one.
the line up on this recording is me, lou barlow and lara meyerratken. that's a new line-up for the band, but the principle is the same: everything recorded quickly, in my bedroom, with lots of stupid arbitrary rules like no mic-stands.
the songs were all written by me except "lasagna" which i wrote with my step-daughter kate.
