Left Lane Cruiser - All You Can Eat 2009.

Left Lane Cruiser plays North Mississippi style blues like a lot of blues bands do these days, they just play it louder and harsher than anyone else, and that includes the North Mississippi AllStars. There’s nothing subtle or sophisticated about LLC. Their music lunges straight for your soul, and puts a stranglehold on it until you’re involuntarily rocking along. When I first heard them, I thought they were a three or four piece Southern band presenting a rawer version of the Black Crowes. Turns out, it’s just two guys from Fort Wayne, Indiana. But this ain’t no Black Keys. Joe Evans plays a righteous and riotous slide guitar with snarling lead vocals, while Brenn Beck plays a bass drum, cymbal, washboard, harmonica, and a homemade kit of various thingies to bang on. The dude is just a human multi-percussion machine. Their debut album Bring Yo’ Ass To The Table came out at the beginning of this year and the dozen originals sound like they were composed on a front porch in Tupelo with a Marshall amp set next to the rocking chair. Even when performing at some record store, their sound comes across big enough to fill a stadium.New album All You Can Eat out September 15th

TV Ghost - Cold Fish [In The Red, 2009]

A pile-up of influences that sees elements of The Monks, The Cramps and a host of other vintage garage rock luminaries all jostling together, TV Ghost's Cold Fish is a typically nerve-jangling collection of lo-fi, 'verbed-out fury. This Indiana band's sound takes a more uncompromisingly discordant set of cues than the often very tuneful In The Red roster's aesthetics. The thorny horror stabs of 'Bastille' seem particularly jarring and aggressive, in the same way that the vicious organ drones of 'The Consumption' made for an ear-blasting introduction at the top of the album. Even the comparatively concise and snappy 'The Network' leaves you in bit of a state, sounding sort of like Fugazi reworking The Munsters theme tune in some 1960s basement.

si, pero asegúrate de no descargarte nada ni navegar mucho porque los nuevos archivos copiados en disco pueden borrar los sectores que ocupaban esos archivos borrados y entonces ya no puedes recuperar casi nada. yo me fundí accidentalmente 50GB de archivos descargados y no pude recuperarlos por haber sobreescrito el disco, así que hazlo cuanto antes!
